The story of an everyday henchman.
I was fortunate to even get an interview, but today I am extremely lucky because I was given a job.
Robert, my new boss, asked me questions about my job experiences and my short-lived high school football career. He must have thought I am qualified enough to work on the main building’s security team.
The fifty-story building is in the heart of downtown and is the home of the company which apparently is in everything. Liz tells me it is one of the top ten private companies in the world, but to me it is a job. I’ve been on unemployment for too long and Richard needs a new pair of shoes and a new hat before winter comes. Thankfully with both of us working now we can afford it.
There is not a lot of money in security, but a job is a job especially for a high school dropout. At least I don’t have to keep borrowing money from mom.
