To Pixie.
Quill was visibly shaking when he twisted the door knob and jerked the door open so hard he thought it might collapse. “T-Timira? What are you doing here, shouldn’t you be with Jack?”
“Damage control.” Timira muttered and sunk herself into one of the beanie bag chairs.
Quill sat on the bed and buried his face in his hands. “God, I fucked up.”
Timira squirmed in the chair, her flip flops refusing to grab hold of the floor for her. “I know, now what did you do?”
Her eyes were unsettling to him, the way the two colors held your gaze captive. “The voices, they said something and, and…” His voice refused to continue speaking.
“Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.” Timira nodded, looking away. “I know. Its an old saying, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, what has happened cannot be undone.”
“Only, they only said the first two parts. Someone else said the third.” Quill said, stumbling over his own words. “At the edge of the river there was this girl in a ball gown, and she said it. Eliza didn’t see her, I pulled her behind me when I heard a voice.”
Timira shot out of her seat and pinned Quill to the wall, her hands on either sides of his neck. “What.” Her voice was demonic, her eyes flashed red for a moment.
“A red head, she was young. What’s wrong?” Quill could feel him self shake again, harder than before.
Timira gasped, shaking her head suddenly. Her eyes resumed the scared doe look that he saw when they first met, her slender frame released the tension on her shoulders.
She was all but straddling the poor youth. “I’m sorry about that. I let my inner demons get the better of me for a moment.” Timira swung her leg over his hips, and sat next to him.
She began to wring her wrists, “I didn’t mean to do that, I’m so sorry. I just lose it sometimes you know? My humanity slips, like a scratched up CD.” Timira looked up for a moment, and tilted her head. “People in your time still listen to CDs, don’t they?”
Quill nodded, “Ya, but most use Ipods.” He took a deep breathe and prepared for the raven haired figure to have another break down. “Why were you so freaked out about the girl by the lake?”
Timira turned her head and looked at him, “Because before you three it was just me and him. The girl you saw isn’t supposed to be here.”
