To Pixie~

Quill intertwined his fingers with Eliza’s, her hand felt so small in his. He was comforted by the promise that Timira would keep Jack busy for the two. He felt horrible that they were going behind his back like this, but what choice did they have? If Jack found out that he was in love with his twin sister he’d kill Quill in heart beat.

“Don’t worry love, were alone.” Eliza whispered, giving his hand a gentle squeeze.

But Quills instinct told him other wise, he could feel eyes on him. It felt like when he was a kid, and he was convinced that there was a monster in his closet.

“Ashes to ashes, dust to dust…”

Eliza turned to Quill, her eyes wide. “There’s those voices again.”

“What has happened cannot be undone.”

Quill pulled Eliza behind him in a protective stance. Standing at the bed of the River of Tears, was a girl with fiery red hair in a ball gown.

“What the hell…” Quill murmured, staring at the girl.

She was no more than fifteen, and her hazel eyes bore right into your soul. With a smile she waved and disappeared into nothing.

“Whats going on? You know I’m short!” Eliza said irritably, jumping to try and see just what her boyfriend was freaking out about.

“N-nothing. Lets go inside.” He muttered.

Those eyes, he’d seen that stare before and he knew it. The stare that could break down an iron will and bend you to their will, that girl held the same gaze as Timira.

He tugged Eliza towards the gates of the farm house, the blonde kept craning her neck to see if there was any trace of what had spooked him. Eliza could have sworn she heard a deep laugh coming from the woods.
