Here is some of the novel. Let me know if you like it, I have wrote it many times over and over so I have many different alterations, so let me know.
Standing up and
At first, Hawk flinched and then realized a Scag an old friend was standing above him. Scag was a seven foot grey creature with leathery skin. His body was huge sausage like fingers, big and barrel chest, huge haunches for arms, Just a power house of a creature. Where’s my wagon asked Hawk, Scag held his head up and brought a spoon full of broth to Hawks lips? He fell back into the bed and was sleeping. When he awoke a bag with some herbs was hanging on his wagon brake with a note from Skag. It read had to leave in a hurry I will catch up later Your Brother Border man. Hawk looked at the wagon and noticed the wheels had sunk in the mud clear up to the axel of the wagon. He sat on a down tree and thought.
putting his arm straight out his eyes began to glow a alumnus blue, his hand still stretched out as if reaching for the cart an orange beam came from his hand towards the wagon a half bubble formed at the end and encased the wagon. This made a shield for the wagon and then it began to lift three feet off the ground. Just right Hawk thought himself. He left the wagon hanging in the air and unhitched the horses from the fallen tree. Then after he hitched the horses back to the wagon. He went and patted all the horses’ noses. The rain soon stopped, hawk began pulling moisture from beneath the wagon until it was dry to let the wagon down to the ground. The moisture formed a stream under the wagon but floating just enough to not become a hindrance for the wagon. Soon enough Hawks was bobbing down the path once more. As the wagon moved down the path moisture would flow until the wagon passed. At the back of the wagon the water moisture would weave back down into the ground as if it hadn’t happened. As Hawk traveled through the forest he came to the valley of the living forest. Most men were unwelcome here but Hawk always felt at peace. Here the forest was alive, all the plant life had living souls for some reason here magic was everywhere. The moss talked to the trees. The trees spoke to the vines and grass every plant was able to communicate with one another. It had a green glow all through the area. Wild animals were the only creatures aloud in this part of the forest. As Hawk traveled through the forest a branch creaked down to him and whispered something in his ear. It was strange but Hawk felt at one here. Every essence of life was a part of him. A little blue bear like creature was standing in the middle of the path Hawk pulled his wagon to a halt. Strange Hawk had been all over these mountains and never had laid eyes on one before. He dismounted off the wagon and walked right up to it. Strange it began to whisper something and the horses and forest all began talking. Hawk wondered why they were not talking to him for the forest had always talked to him first. Then two little dragon creatures came into view they flew down from the sky and landed on Hawks left and right shoulder. One of the dragons was a shiny black, it was so shiny it resembled a peace of black coal that had been burned real hot and then let cool and wiped and buffed so it shined. It was the most beautiful black. The scales of the dragon were diamond in shape. The other dragon was white as pearl. Its scales were octagon these dragons were some of the most unique looking creatures Hawk had ever seen. Hawk had seen huge dragons at his farm but never small ones such as these. He wondered what they wanted. They began talking, but no one would let Hawk in on what was being said, Suddenly Hawk raised his voice. All became quiet and the forest and the creatures listened. I have been ill for a year and it keeps getting worse I can barley hear what you are trying to say. Then they all started to speak at once and Hawks head began to spin. “Quiet!” He said. First who is this blue creature and where did he come from I have never seen his kind before. The trees say he is from a far off land and he had been traveling for many days. His people have been captured and many of the peoples around his home. So things were taking place all over just not in his lands. He came here for you Hawk. The prophecies all point to you of late. Kadrin had warned him of this and the elves had trained him as best as they could. The two little dragons spoke of their homeland and said so far they had not reached the Isles of the dragons. But the dragons had senesced the change in the land. They had been sent to find you too find Hawk as well. The trees had spread the word of where you were at Hawk. So the little blue creature and the two dragons climbed up on Hawks wagon and they were off. The path was well worn and the surrounding forest was covered in moss that had been there for centuries. There were trees that had fallen over and plant life had taken residency on the decaying trees. Once in a while one would find a peace of armor or sword from the previous war. But no one would talk of it. The traces that were left behind were left untouched and all children were told that the remains were the lands now for it had suffered enough and the left over peaces that laid on the planet became part of the planet and if one touched the remains the planet would consume them for this was the way of this world. Hawk was watching the path as they rode along when the horses began to neigh a bit. The dragons were curled up in a ball on a blanket in the back of the wagon. Hawk felt the blue creature patting his leg. The creature kinda growled at Hawk and pointed to the road ahead. Now Hawk understood what the creature was trying to say. To the right of the path Hawk saw a huge wolf on the side of the path. It quickly darted off into the forest. Wolfs were uncommon in this area, so he shielded the horses and wagon. The blue creature and the two little dragons were left with the wagons to stand guard. He grabbed a crossbow and a quiver of cross blots, and headed off after the wolf. He came to the end of the brush when he saw a man lying on the ground. To his surprise he wasn’t wearing any clothes. The fellow on the ground wasn’t a man but a boy. He looked at the boy on the ground and wondered what he was doing way out here. Then he noticed the girl standing over him with the wolf standing on the boys’ chest, the boy, who was laying on his back with the huge wolf standing on his chest snarling at him. Hawk said “what is going on here?” Colvar that’s my name stuttered the boy on the ground. After studying Hawk for a moment the girl looked relived Hawk had come along. The green gem on Hawks dagger handle represented the elves garden clan. She recognized it, and by the look of confidence in his actions she new he could handle himself. The girl looked at Hawk and said this man was spying on me when he fell from the tree. Hawk looking at the man, with amusement on his face. Hawk noticed the boy was nude, asked with a curious look on his face, “and where are your clothes.” Colvar gasped, it’s a long story, if the lady would get this retched beast off me. With that the wolf growled at Colvar, please get him off please. Finally Hawk said to the woman “call off the wolf I’m here, we will get this all straightened out. But somewhere out of all of this, the women lost her self in Hawks eyes. Hawk was lost in hers as well, and the commotion all seemed to be silenced for the moment. Hello, Hello is anyone there, can anyone hear me. Colvar and the wolf looked at the two and they could see the loving look. Come on already Hello at top of his lungs yelled Colvar. The two broke and stood staring at the young man on the ground. Hawk looked at the girl and said as long as the wolf is here I don’t think he will cause many problems. That is not a beast it is a wolf, and he name is Deck. She said “first he has to apologize for calling him a reached beast.” Deck was still on top of Colvar growling and drooling on him. Sorry, Sorry yelled Colvar please; please I promise I won’t do anything. Dec slowly backed off Colvar. Hawk asked Miss, may I have your name Miss? She looked at Hawk she started to blush my name is Petra. My family lives not far from here
