He was still standing there with his jaw dropped.  She had seen his reaction out of the corner of her eye.  Without a doubt she had his attention.  Two years ago she would have thought what she did in the bedroom was cheap, but tonight she was willing to do almost anything.  And the objective was more than showing Norma that there was life after amputation.  The trip to the kitchen was orchestrated to have him get a good look at her coming and going.  The bending over with her back to him exposed the end of her stump to him as if innocently.

She got in her car as she did before.  This time when he got into the passenger seat her stump was much more obvious under the skirt.  It was so short.  He wondered how an artificial leg could attach to it.  He also wondered what it felt like to have a stump and more important, to touch one.  He was twenty five years old and had not had sex with a girl but he had done some feeling of the legs and breasts of his dates.  If they would allow, it was OK, he thought.  He remembered how feeling the softness of a girl’s leg turned him on and realized that looking at her stump was having the same effect.
