Just a story that I was playing around with about Two lovers that are fighters in a war. This war is war against prejudice and they work together to try to stop a full out civil war.
“Remember this night, for it shall be your last here. For many years, you have awakened to a quest of understanding the knowledge of the path you’ve chosen, And all those years we have stood and guided your paths. Now at the sun’s last kiss, you stand ready to walk your own path. Our training has been instilled within your vessel, and we know that your future choices will be of greatness. We know that you will carry the name of the Night Blades in your hearts, and teach all who cross your path the true strength of our name. The strength of our hearts, the strength of our might, the strength of our passion, and the strength of bond with our brothers and sisters.
And let them nor yourself forget not the blood the runs deep within you. The family you have here shall be as real as the ones you left to be here. Your blood and the blood of those who stand beside you are one in the same.
So let not my word fall upon deaf ears, and go out unto the world. Grant them your blessing, or in some cases your curse. Freedom be upon you!” Leo Jounce, the Light spirit guardian, announced. As his word sunk upon the crowd, his twin brother Lynal Jounce, the Dark spirit guardian, approached the podium.
“ Warriors of the Light, and Masters of the Dark, listen to the words I speak. For I am not one of many words.
You who has grasp the light, walk heavily unto the world and let then know your name. Grant them the blessing of the light and guard righteously the way of the Gold Night Blades.
My children of the darkest night, walk soundlessly with me unto the world of wickedness, and destroy the ones who seek destruction. Let the dark sprits know that your presence is guidance to the dark realm, and seekers of destruction know your name is death.
But in your path forget not, that you work for the same cause, and look not down unto your brothers. Those of light chose the path of faith, and those of dark are guided by fate. Never forget your brothers and sisters, and let them do as they were trained and live in harmony with one another,”
Looking on with starry eye, D’wavore felt her heart warm upon their words. She felt as though she was now a warrior of worth in the eyes of her Leaders, one who they believed in. Her destiny was now and her dream now filling, and hopefully one day she could become a legend. Just like her hero and mentor Leo Jounce.
She longed for this day, when she could walk upon the galaxy, making a name for herself. Taking quest for noblemen and commoners alike. Becoming a famous traveler. People would know her far and wide and her skills would be wanted. Needed. Envied.
Not only that, she would finally be free of the terrible nightmares that haunt her. The ones created by the bastards of her past. Those who mocked her, would read her name in the pages of history and their kids would learn to praise her work. They will have done nothing for the good of galaxy, while she would be a saint.
However, this would be a hard time for her. She was destined to leave her love. The years spent in the camp of the Night Blade had been a blessing to her for many things. Above all other things, the camp was where she had met Erios Na’garin.
A truly gifted Talon, half dragon, and half human, Erios had came around the same time as she did. When people began to start rumors about his secret ambitions, she became curious. Learning his distrust of most being due to his past, the became very close friend. She understood him and admired his heart.
Like him, she knew what it was like to be unwanted. Cursed to be born in such a prejudice world, where you could be out cast because of your race, Erios pledged his life to regain the respect of his race. Or he’d die for it’s cause.
It was for that reason she felt a connection for him; being a Half-elf , she knew exactly what if was like to called a waste of blood, and she grew strength from him. Her need of his strength grew to a need of his love, as the grew into lovers. Though they never laid with one another, they still had the love of any couple deep within their souls. Yet they wished so that they could live together once their days ran dry.
Her being a Gold Night Blade lead her down the roads of many, fulfilling her duties town to town. Granting the blessing to those of the world and of the gentle lost spirits. Yet his road was one of darkness, seeking out the all evil upon the world and eradicate all that cause plague to it. Their paths would not so easily or often past. So for the best they would have to place their love aside, for the better of the world.
Yet still she would miss him and the nights they shared. If not before, now more than ever it would guide her path and keep her in path of the light. Knowing that because of her faith, it has shown her pure love.
Standing in the presence of such greatness, Erios , now a warrior of the blood stained night was proud. The fates saw fit that he was judge worthy in the eyes of spirits which guided his leaders. He was now ready to take the Night Blades blessing with him as he carried out his role. The fates would guide him to many lands, through many task, and would give him much knowledge. He know he was a factor in the great force of fate and would nobly perform each task.
By the fates chance, all the races will once again know that the house of Na’garin would rise. And the Talons will once again reclaim its rights upon the council. For too long had his people be wrongfully banished from their seat upon the council, but nevermore. He would see to it. Once his service to The Night Blade Society, and their leaders Leo and Lynal Jounce, all will know that the mighty Talons are fiends no more.
But even in his quest, he would never forget his love. The beautiful Half-elf who had stolen his heart. D’wavore had been the only one he’d open himself to. Others had been ignorant fools. Accusing him of being a murder, when they clearly didn’t understand him. Just as the rest of the world. Once you know nothing, you must make something up to make sense to you. But not her, she was kind.
She came to him and valued him, showed him what acceptance felt like. And that was more than any other man or woman could give to him. Seeking his guidance, he felt as thought she made herself rely on him, because she saw him as man of worth, and in secret he needed her. The feel of her words to his ear and her hand upon his flesh was a seductive drug for which no man could seek refuge. And upon that fateful night, he kissed her underneath the glorious oak tree in Luna’s presence. With that kiss upon those sweetest lips, they had fallen in love.
It had been almost four years ago, and their love grew stronger by the breath. He would miss her, for they both had their own destinies to fulfill. And if the fates saw fit, they would met at some time, where they will continue their love. If not, they were only to show the other what all true love could create.
Even with the knowledge of his future he would be but a shallow beast with out her.
“ Dearest love, how fare you on this night,”
“ I fare as well as a man could with the knowledge of a lost love,”
“ So it strikes our hearts the same, not prejudice at all to lovers,”
“ It would seem not. Which way shall your feet tread first?”
“ I know not love, maybe Bolivia. They are always in need our kind,”
“ That choice is probably most wise,” and without another word, he pulled her into in and kissed her forehead. He stood in the night mist and just held his love. In the purest form they stood and their friends came and went, few words passed, but they remained. They wanted all the time they could have.
“ Love, I shall always keep your love within my soul. Even after my bones have chilled and I have been taken by death’s touch,”
“ Oh, Erios. Dearest love. My words could never be as strong as yours, yet you know that your love has merged with my soul and I shall take it with me past the spirit realm,”
“ My love, we must part, we have our journeys ahead of us. Pray the fates see our paths cross again,”
“ A prayer I shall take at every step my love,”
With those words they stared into each others eyes. With the winds gentle embrace and the sweet smell of the gardens, the mood was set as they leaned in and kissed each other passionately.
And on that day, two warriors with great love were separated. Who is to know what fury they shall lay unto their foes with the pain soaked into their hearts. But destiny has a call for them and they cannot deny their missions. So they walk their paths and wish to cross once more, not knowing how long it would be unto they were at each other’s side again.
“ Master Yu, nice to see you, the council has missed you,”. and with forest green eyes, narrowed as a hunter. Yu Yuan’chi look at the servant with a slight smile and gave a nod.
“ And so have I missed them, are they meeting now?”
“ Yes Master Yu, this way,”
“ Thank you,”
The Chamber of Priest of the Sacred Light was a magnificent sight. Marble floor, Ivory pillars, and smooth silver seats. A blend of white and blue decoration, was truly worth of the monks who over looked the lands. They meet in the small dome to speak of important issues, with great wisdom and great fairness.
Yu Yuan’chi had been missing from his seat for a couple weeks now due to the concern of his people. The Tagil were the Children of Demons and Angels. A mix of great dark power and a pure mind.
In recent days, they weren’t trusted. Every since they came from hiding, because of the great treat their parents foresaw, they had been treated as second rate citizen all over the land. No one could think that a Demon, even with an Angel’s blood could be an help to the galaxy. A problem that Yu had to fix. He entered the room and took his seat. He then glanced at all his friends and the fellow leaders of the Sacred light.
“ How fare your people?” Master Daikuzo, leader of the humans.
“ They are not well, they are sickened of their treatment by the other races. Have you not yet spoke to your people?”
“ I need time Master Yu. As you know my race is a stubborn race, and are not easy to let loose their beliefs. Please, on my honor I shall fix it,”
“ Please handle it with great haste, my people are all but at my throat.
They believe that I have forgotten them and have cast them aside,”
“ I assure you, the humans will be redirected on marrow wake,”
“ Many thanks Master Daikuzo for your kindness. So what other issues are to be attended?”
“ There are many matter to attend to Master Yu. First and far most, we must celebrate your return. You have been missed Master Yu and we have got you this,” Master Daikuzo sad and reached from behind his chair and presented a gold ring.
The ring was truly magnificent, crafted masterfully. The ring was decorated with a ruby, within that ruby was the form of a cross with wings sprouted for it. After he picked it up engraved in the ring was “ A true master is not of the fist, but of the heart”
“ Where did you get such a divine ring?” He said overjoyed as he put it on.
Interjecting on the conversation, Master Feural, the leader of the Vampires, said, “ It was a jewel crafter in the Holy Flame Region. Such a task as this, can only be done by a woman’s touch. Do you really like it Master Yu?”
Looking into those infinite diamond eyes of Master Feural, he smiled brighter than her stare.
“ Yes, I truly love it, I thank you?”
“ You are loved here, we don’t doubt you wouldn’t do the same for us,”
After his gratitude was expressed they filled the chamber with laughter and with tales of their past together.
Yet afterwards they focused their wisdom to the better of their races.
