Chp. 9…
So there I stood infront of Malik. He stuffed his face with his breakfast. I told him I had to go home and that more than likely I’m not going with him to dinner to night.
He looked upset when he said we could do it another night. That’s one thing that I liked about malik, the only way he could lie to me was by not looking directly at me.
He knew that my mom wouldn’t let me go out anywhere with him again especially since I missed school.
The ride home wasn’t quite. Majority of the time Malik was listening to Lil Wayne. I was texting Marcus. Marcus was a friend from our brother school. I meet him at his school’s dance freshman year.
I still remember the flashing lights and how hot it was that night. Over the years he’s been like my best friend. Malik don’t like Marcus because he is my ex. We was together for half of my sophmore year.
Malik kissed me before I got out the car. I waved to him at my door. I took a deep breathe and opened the door.
