Marsha ends up letting John sleep on the floor in her motel room.
“Oh…I see, well then, I guess you can sleep on the floor!” Marsha said, giving in a little bit, but being cautious, at the same time, with a stern look on her face. Marsha was no virgin, but she was careful, about who she spent her time with. John grabbed one white, and fluffy pillow, from on top of the bed, tucking it underneath his head, while laying down on the floor, right next to the bed. Marsha rolled the covers, down on the bed. Sitting on the bed, she pushed her legs underneath, the sheets, and the comforter, as she pulled the covers, up to her neck, snuggled in tightly, and she laid her head, down on her white pillow, closing her eyes, and falling asleep.
Marsha’s watch, had an automatic alarm, would wake her up in the morning, so that she wouldn’t be late to work. At precisely 7 am, she woke up, looking down at the floor, to see if John, was still there, and there he was curled up, into a ball, quietly sleeping. Marsha decided to order, in some breakfast. She called the office, to the front desk, to find out what kind of food she could order, along with a couple cups of hot coffee, and how long it would take for the food, to get to her room. Marsha, who was hungry ordered, eight slices of bacon, four eggs over hard, two containers of crispy hash browns, two sides of white toast, and two large, cups of hot and steamy, regular coffee. After she was done with the order, she hung up the phone. It would only take twenty minutes, for the food to arrive. John was awake, stretching and yawning, as he sat up against the bed, and said, to Marsha, “Good morning!” and she said, “good morning, sleepy head.” John said, “Are you still mad, about last night?” and Marsha quickly replied, “I was, but I’m not anymore.” and he said, as he stood up, and sat down on top of the bed, next to Marsha, “I wasn’t going to hurt you, but I didn’t want to be left behind either.” She quickly said to John, “I took the liberty of ordering some breakfast, for the two of us, while you were asleep.” and he said, “Good, I’m hungry, and I really appreciate, what your doing for me, but I am surprised, you let me stay, in this room last night. I guess… I didn’t give you much of a choice. I’m really sorry, about the way I acted last night. I hope we can be friends.” They both heard someone, knocking on the door. Marsha says to John, “I’ll open the door, it’s probably our breakfast.” so she walked over to the door, and stood there, while she tuned the knob, to open the door. “Hello, here’s your breakfast, you ordered.” the gentleman said, as he handed her the two cups of coffee, which she took the two cups in her hands, and sat them down, on the desk near the door, and the man said, “Here, is the rest of your order.” handing her the two Styrofoam containers, with the smell of hot bacon, eggs, and hash browns inside, and set them down on the desk, next to the two cups of steaming coffee. She reached inside the front of her right side, jean pocket, and pulled out two twenty dollar bills, saying to the gentleman at the door, “Thank you so much, you can go ahead, and keep the change.” and he said, “Thanks! Here’s your ticket.” he said, as he turned around, and walked away, Marsha closed the door, and said to John, “Ok, here’s your breakfast, come and get it!” Marsha said, smiling, as she sat down on the bed, with her container of hot food, and her cup of hot coffee, in her right hand.
