Time Renewed

“Tell me how a spawn of Satan came from a miracle of God? Well then, allow me tell you my dear brother. Remember long ago when we one? Well you should.” The man took the cigarette out of his mouth and threw it on to the water covered floor. He started up into the sky, as the clouds spat out drizzle. “20XX, my brother,” The man in trench coat spoke. “It was a miraculous year. This was when I knew what emotion was. Life was joy though in massive complexity. Then you stole that from me.” The man placed his foot upon the laying man’s chest. Slowing placing pressure, the man on the floor began to wane.

“Let me tell you the story of God’s Miracle.”

God’s Miracle

“We were twins, you remember, we were Siamese. We were conjoined at the waist. Two heads, four arms and four legs. We were to be separated. That was the wish of our Father. He despised what you and I were. Sadly it would be difficult. We shared various organs, but one thing you stole was my heart. I had none while you had both. As they separated us, they had to remove one of your hearts. The one that belong to me, the one that was rightfully mine! They gave it to me. Problem was that the doctor destroyed that heart. As he attempted to remove it, he split it in two.  The humanity I could have attained was stolen! He botched the whole operation!”

The man kicked his brother, in the arm, causing the veins to rupture.

“He gave me an artificial heart. Fate loved you. It was passionate. Yet, I was left with sorrow. The doctor made my heart beat like yours for it was a perfect beat. He made me less of myself and more of you. I am nothing like you scum!” The man spat “More horrid events began as we were divided. They had been successful. Sadly you, again where unharmed but I. Brother but I… I wasn’t so fortunate.  They punctured my lungs and wounded other vital organs. My brother don’t you see the trouble, you were always the lucky one.” The man who lay on the floor gave a cough, and the man in the trench coat, removed his foot and kicked him over onto his stomach. The evil brother gave a slight laugh. He picked up the now pale man by his shirt collar and lifted him upon a dumpster in the alley. The evil one jumped upon the unit with a single bound, effortlessly.
