A series of four stories about a time detective solving crimes against aliens and humans threatening earth in different years.
The year is 2250, and waiting at the tube station since four pm for his contact, was Detective Winsome disguised in his trademark light brown long overcoat, with matching hat.
As the train slowly pulled up, passengers got off while those waiting stepped onboard. Winsome searched those getting off for Professor Sirencide with no luck, until he noticed right at the back staggering, clutching his stomach hands covered in blood. Winsome quickly forced his way through grabbing hold of him, his face pale, sweating as he fell into his arms.
“Professor what happened?”
“She got me. Mrs. Smithers followed me onto the train and took the document. You must stop her.” He started choking for air.
“I will Professor,” shaking him trying to wake up but it was too late. Standing up amongst the onlookers tried spotting her which became difficult, with so many moving around. “Where are you ugly creature bitch?”
Near the steps leading upstairs to the exit, he spotted a familiar face with black spots all over.
“STOP RIGHT THERE MRS. SMITHERS! He shouted grabbing her attention. Turning round in his direction quickly grabbed a male passenger closest to her, panicking other passengers.
“One move and he’s dead,’ followed by a clicking sound of her tongue. Winsome had his trusty hand gun pointed straight at her. “I can kill you right here very easily,” he pointed out to her.
“I don”t think you would risk this human’s life,’ grinning away staring down at him.
“Your right. I”m not a cold killer like you,’ lowering his gun with the relief of everyone kneeling down on the floor, especially the hostage.
“I would love to stay and chat Winsome, but I have to be somewhere. Chow hunny bun,” then pushed the human towards him as a distraction. Climbing the first steps wings opened up under her jacket as it dropped to the floor, revealing herself to be a red ladybird with its big black spots and was about to fly off. Suddenly quick off the mark Winsome fired a shot, a small black round tracker landed on her back just in time as she took off. It was a creepy but wonderful sight for the passengers who had never seen anything like it before as they glanced around to one another.
Winsome slips his hand gun inside his coat pocket, pulling out a small hand scanner and straight away it detected her movements by a red flashing beacon moving along the screen. Quickly running up the steps stops and shouts over his shoulder, “one of you is a crocodile, so keep an eye out!” then was gone grinning away knowing the fools would believe him.
