At the party who shows up but Antonio. We were teenagers, young and reckless, have yet to figure out what’s wrong and what right. All of us were drinking, and I was offered a drink. I knew shouldn’t drink but I was upset, out of place and peer pressure really does get to you. You never think you will be a victim of peer pressure until you are.  I drank far too much so I headed up the stairs and emptied my stomach out. I didn’t go back down, instead I locked myself up there and drank water, slowly sobering up. The door opened and Antonio had come in. He was drunk and he seemed to really like me. I gave into my urges, I knew I shouldn’t but I kept telling myself, “ it’s okay I knew he liked me more than Sara, he just didn’t say so “. I was convinced I was better than her and he wanted me more.  The truth was he didn’t and he thought I was Sara. Sara and I don’t talk anymore, she will barley acknowledge my presence anymore. She is in the right, I had become someone I myself did not like. After that night, I continued to take what was mine, I never stopped to think about the others feelings. It was only what I wanted and got. No questions no guilt. Not till now. That day I stopped believing in the good in people. If I could betray my own best friend so easily, and so many others have done the exact same thing, where’s the hope in humanity?
