What does a middle aged South African woman do when she has to relocate to Toronto? She writes about it.

Had a quiet day yesterday just getting over the trip,it is a moerse long way! Did all the washing and even cooked our first dinner here, it is all very well kitted out. Then we took a drive out to Oakville to see our house, it is about 30 minutes drive form the city. I also had a look around the Oakville town to see what shops are available and did a grocery shop at the local supermarket. If I do it at the condo I have to carry all the packets home myself!

I took Josh to the park this morning and he saw a raccoon! Well he almost jumped out of his skin, I think he thought it was a dassie! He chased it up the tree and that was that, except that now he looks up all the trees hoping to find another one.
I have washed my hair this morning, it was looking terrible! Now I am going to put the glad rags and have a walk into the city, I want to go and find the Italian part, maybe I can find a good cappuccino except that I won’t have you to enjoy it with me!
