“Great show tonight !” Samantha Connor yelled across the bar at CJ.

“Yea not to bad I don’t guess.” CJ yelled back.

CJ continued sweeping the floor as he did every night at close. Samantha had been nice enough to allow CJ to put on his hypnosis show every Tuesday and Thursday night at her bar the Flaming Flamingo. Because of this he always stayed over to help clean.

When CJ finished he waved to Samantha, as he stepped out into the cold night air. His flat wasn’t but a block away and he couldn’t wait to get home. As always his roommate Matt was asleep on the couch and some porn movie was playing on the TV. CJ didn’t understand Matt’s reason behind watching porn but if he liked it CJ didn’t complain. As he walked through the small kitchen one of the floor boards let out a loud screech. He turned to see if Matt was awaken by the sound. Sure enough Matt’s head looked over the back of the couch.

“Well so much for going to bed” CJ whispered to himself.

“Well look whose home “It’s about time” Matt said as he stumbled to his feet.

Even half asleep he still managed to make his way through the crowded living room into the kitchen where CJ stood next to the stairs. As he got closer CJ could smell alcohol on his breath.

“Did you get into my alcohol again” CJ asked

“NO!”I bought my own alcohol” Matt replied with a smirk

“With what your good looks” CJ said as he fought the smile spreading across his face

CJ kept a stash of flavored liqueurs in the kitchen. He knew that Matt only got drunk when something wasn’t going his way, something CJ had pointed out on several occasions. Even though he tried to pretend to be mad he couldn’t seem to keep from laughing. Matt was a funny drunk, not to mention a cheap one. He reminded CJ of Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates Of The Caribbean.

“See I made you smile.” Matt said as he threw his arms around CJ’S neck.

“You know I love ya man” Matt said  landing a kiss on CJ’S mouth.

“Whoa hold on a sec” CJ yelled pushing Matt away
