The people who had been handling Mickey’s stunt cautiously approached the box.

That was the beginning of the end.  The moment Jenna had shouted those words, she suddenly found herself unable to move and her entire skin began to tighten around her body.  It’s as if she was being sucked inwards.  She tried moving but found herself paralysed.  Simultaneously, in the box, where Mickey lay, only a thick red mist could be seen.   The audience were still keeping silent, despite Jenna shouting out, as they felt it may be part of the stunt and then, something very strange and sinister began to happen.  The red mist that was inside the cubicle box began to seep from out of Jenna’s entire body until she was out of sight.  The audience looked on bewildered.  And then, suddenly, as the cubicle box became clear once more, they were shocked to find a human skeleton inside.  Likewise, as the red mist vanished from where Jenna was seated, a skeleton appeared there as well.  A moments silence and then, mayhem broke loose as a woman screamed out aloud.

“A dead body!  Aaaahhh!”  The rest of the people seated around began to panic and stood up, rushing to leave the building.  The announcer re-appeared and pleaded with them to stay seated until he found out what had happened.  One old lady called out,

“You murderers!  Where’s Mickey?  You killed Mickey Mcgoogal!”  The announcer was lost for words and before long the police and security men came in.  Barry was let out aswell and escorted by security men to identify Jenna.  The people who had been handling Mickey’s stunt cautiously approached the box.  A few men appeared and began to unfasten the top of the cubicle box and could clearly see a human skeleton lying inside, but upon closer inspection, Mickey’s agent, Benjamin Treemer, got the shock of his life and turned away, sickened.  He then looked at where Jenna had sat and almost choked on his words.

“Oh my God.  Th..that skeleton inside the cubicle; it’s not Mickey’s.”  The announcer’s jaw dropped.

“What do you mean?  That’s Mickey in there!  Who else could it possibly be?”  Benjamin pointed to the chair.

“This is the skeleton of the lady who was seated in the front seat row, on thatchair.”  He then came off the stage and up to Jenna’s chair.

“And th…that’s Mickey Mcgoogle’s skeleton.”  The police and security men arrived at the scene and appeared confused.  Barry, for the first time, was allowed onto the stage to identify the skeleton in the cubicle.  For obvious reasons, it was not the easiest of tasks.  He entered inside the cubicle from the top and bend down to examine the skeleton.  His eyes searched around for some kind of clue and then,

“Oh no!  That bracelet around it’s left wrist,  It’s a gift I bought for Jenna on her birthday earlier this year.”  His eyes began to fill with tears as it dawned on him that it was Jenna and strangely enough, the skeleton on the chair was curled up in the same foetus posture as Mickey.  He dropped Jenna’s popcorn and burst out crying.   Most of the stadium seats were empty but for the benefit of the few remaining people who were still seated, fans of Mickey, the announcer asked permission to give on final speech for the evening.

“Ladies and gentlemen,  tonight we have all witnessed something that we will never forget;a tragedy in the eyes of most of us, but in a strange way; perhaps that is how Mickey would have wanted us to remember him.  Regarding Jenna, I can only say that maybe she was such an avid fan of Mickey’s that he chose to take her with him.  Maybe, it could be that they have travelled somewhere in time?  In the past, into the future?  Who knows?   You’re guess is as good as mine.”  And with those words, the curtains came down for the very last time, at least for Mickey Mcgoogle.

The End.
