A love story of the lesbian variety.

As the days past, we text everyday…the texts became more sincere, more honest and friendly…I felt they were truthful, of course she asked how I was and I believed she was interested. I believed this girl, I liked her…there was something magical about her, very mysterious…she held back but in a classy, much deserved way rather than keeping me hanging like a player, this girl was intelligent and full of poise.

One thing this girl wouldn’t do, and that was meet me before the party…she had plenty of opportunities, I worked in the middle of gayville for gods sake, you could drag your mates in and have a good perve whilst I was working…but no…she was the only girl who would not come in and perve… Hufff…I appreciated her for that…and I could see it was going to be on her terms.

The days were drawing in until I would meet her at the party…we’d been texting fluently…there was an excitement building, she would send me pictures and I would of course scroll through for my best ones…hahaha as if I was going to show her a frumpy one…I must admit I felt a bit rejected when she wouldn’t come into the Loft…I seemed to have become a commodity…an all dancing, all singing little blonde thing from the Loft…the new girl…they knew me, I didn’t know them. But I felt as though she was still keen, like she wanted to know Katie, the real Katie not the performing monkey at work. It’s the day of the party, it’s finally arrived…and I’m getting ready…I venture to a bright reed lipstick…I want to be seen, the peacock theory is in overdrive…I’ve back-combed my hair and have a beehive with long strands flowing down my face…I’ve white hair with black roots…red lipstick and dark eye make up on…I’ve a white t-shirt on that will not stay on my shoulders…and a strapless bra, I basically look like a dirty young maid who’s been ragged round a bit…I’ve a silver skirt on with sparkly sequins sown into it, black tights and boots on…my camera is hung on my shoulder and I’m leaving for the party…click-idy-click I get into the loft, checking myself in the mirror…teeth are clean and bright, skin is glowing and I look like a party animal who’s ready for the big time. I get into my taxi and head for the club…I’m nervous and checking my phone, Jodie has already text saying she won’t stay long, about an hour, I didn’t want to get there extra early but also didn’t want to miss her…I arrived at Chic and saw Winnie on the door, I said hello and made some funny comment, statistics say that a form of sarcasm would have been dropped in at some point…I get into the club and it’s dead…the party is upstairs so I unhook the rope and walk up the stairs, Nicola Barnes is there and some of her friends, Michael is wide eyes and munching on his face…I walk in and start taking photo’s, I get myself a drink and I’m looking at my camera battery from which is dying on me rapidly…I have no choice but to go back…I tell Michael I’m just nipping to Arcadian to get another battery from a Tilllate member…it was a lie, if I told him I was going home to re-charge my battery I thought he may think I’m running away…oh don’t worry, that was my dream at that point. I asked where Kelly was and he said that the alarm from the shop had gone off and she had to go and sort it out…on my way down Nikki came up the stairs to check on the party, I took one last picture and exited…on exiting, I pushed the first set of doors and had goose-bumps go over me…I passed a group but didn’t notice who as I was pretty focused on running home, re-charging and coming back in time so I wouldn’t miss this girl called Jodie…when I walked past this group I felt I was passing something…I felt it was a presence and I had shivers and goose bumps…initially I thought it was the opening of the doors and the cold air hitting me…but on reflection…guess who it was???
