Featuring a teenage male called Bill that tries to escape from his village home called Subture. The village is cursed by an unknown man…You could find out easily as the story unfolds. He tries to escape to his uncle Adrians house for shelter. But will he make it? read it first in part 2…
It was nightfall and the village was quiet as ever…Melaine crying at my shoulders. I don’t know what to do..what to say..or what to plan…until I spoke up. ‘Melaine,we have to get out of the village whether we like it or not’. I could see her sad blue eyes filled with tears..but I had no other choice. If we stayed here, we will still die for all I know..Monsters like this can sniff out their prey. I had heard about this creature called the “infested”. Folks used to say that the Infested can turn prey thay eat..to one of them. I couldn’t imagine one being here..not now… But there is one.One killing machine waiting for two little mice to creep out of their hole…and that two mice are me and Melaine. We had to move quick..look for survivors and supplies to aid us in our journey. Speaking of survivors..I heard a few shots from a sawn-off shotgun not long ago. Maybe that villager is still alive. I would doubt it,but I must take this chance to see if he is still alive or not. I told Melaine that we will travel south to where the gunshots were.’Bill,That’s too dangerous! We will never make it!…Please don’t..’ pleaded Melaine.
I have no other choice…That thing will kill us any minute by now if we don’t start moving.I’m sorry Melaine..but if you’re not with me, you’re on your own..’ I replied. We needed to go pass the market to reach that part where the survivor is holding out.I went down the stairs and looked for the emergency batteries and flash light. I wen’t and scrape anything I could from the house.I looked back at Melaine..she seemed very scared.I had no time to bother,I went to the store room to get the hunting rifle my dad always used to hunt deer. It also had a few rounds with it. 5 cartridges of hunting rifle ammo, 8 loaves of long lasting butter bread and two rations of water. That would keep us alive for at least as estimated: 2 weeks to be precise. I went out and opened the door and hoped to god I wouldn’t die..as I stepped out I seen something that I wouldn’t have wanted to see in my life….. a farmer being eaten by the infested. it turned fast and pounced at me hoping to get a bite…I realized that my rifle was not loaded..I stared in front with horror.
