Novel about a not so distant future thrown into chaos.

“I would have asked you out by now.”

“And you would still be a virgin.  I needed to separate work from personal, and that was the difference between a client and my lover, we didn’t sleep together until I was ready to take it to that level.”

“wow.”

“Yeah.”  I said and I finished up my plate.  Then he got up from his chair and came to me he kneeled in front of me and put his hand on my belly. He kissed it and I watched him. Then he ran his hands along my thighs. Then he looked up at me.  I kissed him, long and hard.  He wrapped his arms around me and held me to him as we kissed

“I need you.” he whispered to me then looked into my eyes in question. “yeah?”

I looked at him, did I want to go there with him. “yeah” I whispered.

He lifted me off the chair and took me over to the bed.  We made love, real love that afternoon.  I let myself feel again, and I had the best sex I have ever had in my lifetime. And if I never did it again, I would die happy.  Hay si papi just like that. I could live like this for the rest of my life.

I had no idea what the hell was going on.  But I was hearing the most awful things I’d ever heard.  I couldn’t believe that they had happened to my mother.  As she walked out to her table I saw the man they had been talking about.

Marco was tall and gorgeous.  He had a familiar look about about him, but I didn’t know from where.  Seanna sat down on the chair in front of her food.  The waiter came to see if he could do anything for us.  Mother asked for water as I sat down.  I shook my head when he asked me.  He cleared the table and went off to get the water.

“I’m so sorry… I… I would leave except I can’t see.”  Seanna said as she put her head down on the table.  I nodded and felt completely helpless. I saw him walk over and I started to glare but the look in his eye caught my attention.
