The next couple weeks went by pretty fast with Sarahs school, MGs work, and the boys recording. One night when MG got home from a long day of work, she walked in to Sarah, Akira and Kio all sitting at the kitchen table. She was slightly confused as she walked over to them but was happy to see them all the same.
“Hi baby” Kio said standing up and giving MG a kiss.
“how was work?”
“uhg… loong” MG replied “whats.. going on?” she asked curious.
“we have some news” said Akira.
MG noticed Sarah didnt look too happy.
“okay” MG said slowly taking a seat next to Kio. “well..?” she asked after some moments of silence.
“we have a tour..” Kio began.
“oh well that’s great” MG replied with a half hearted smile.
“we’re going to be gone for 2 months” Akira added.
MG turned her head quick at Akira as if he had just said the worst insult she had ever heard.
“2..2 months?” she stuttered,
“yeahh” said Kio slowly.
And MG finally understood why Sarah looked so upset.
“there’s more..” Sarah said in an almost whisper.
MG couldnt say anything she only waited for someone to spill the rest of the news.
“we’d like you to come with us” Kio smiled, MG should have been happy but she wasn’t.
Kio looked over at Akira with a look asking ‘did i say that right’.
“I cant just leave work Kio” MG finally said , Kio took MGs hands and said “babe.. you don’t have to work” implying he would take care of her.
MG quickly stood up leaving Kios grasp.
“you want me to leave my job so i can play hide and seek on your tour?”.
Fueling off of MGs anger Sarah finally stood up too and said “yeah and I’m not dropping my classes either Akira”
“we just wa.” Akira began but MG cut him off,
“alright how about you stop singing Kio, stop writing , you don’t need too” and she shot a deadly look at him.
“yeah and how about you stop playing guitar Akira hm?” said Sarah crossing her arms.
MG and Kio were only looking at eachother though they didn’t seem to notice Akira and Sarah.
But it was the same with Akira and Sarah as well, they didn’t seem to notice Kio and MG.
Kio being.. well Kio, stormed out of the house without another word. Akira on the other hand tried to talk to Sarah,
“I’m sorry sweety i didn’t.. i wasn’t thinking”
But Sarah was in no mood to hear it, she tried to walk away to her room but Akira grabbed her arm, which was a bad mistake on his end, Sarah turned around and smacked him clear across the face, shot him an evil look then continued to her bedroom.
Akira looked over at MG who was still standing dead in place in the kitchen but she didn’t notice him, he left.

In her room Sarah was so pissed she saw her stack of Cd’s with Guren Mirror’s album on top and shoved the whole stack onto the ground. She felt like she couldn’t move after that, how dare Akira ask her to give up her life for a 2 month tour where she’d have to hide. She sighed , backed up against her door and slid to the ground. She finally started to feel the sting in her hand and she cried.
MG snapped back to reality when she heard the crash coming from Sarahs room, she thought about going to her but knew Sarah needed to just be alone with her thoughts right now.
MG went to the fridge finally able to move and grabbed a beer. She opened it and sat down at the kitchen table just thinking.
An hour and a half later Sarah slowely made her way out of her room and to the kitchen to join MG.
“i.. don’t want to be alone anymore” she said softly standing a few feet away from MG. MG looked at her swollen eyes, stood up and walked over to her to give her a hug “its okay” she said and walked Sarah to the table then went to the fridge and grabbed two more beers.
“do you think we’re over reacting?” Sarah finally said.
MG sat down handing Sarah one of the beers , sighed and said “.not .. no..” and she took a drink.

The next morning the girls both woke with head-aches. They both slept in MG’s bed, neither wanted to spend the night alone. MG got up first, went to the bathroom, grabbed some aspirin and some water and came back.
“here” she said handing Sarah a glass of water and some pills.
“thanks” Sarah replied taking them.
Sarahs phone was flashing, she picked it up and..
“holy sh*t” she said,
“what?”
but Sarah said nothing, she handed her phone to MG.
“oh wow.. ” MG said looking at all the missed calls and texts.
“you have… 9 voice mails” she said handing the phone back to Sarah.
Sarah took it and got up and walked out of the room to listen to them.

She went to the front door to get the morning paper and when she opened the door.. Akira was sitting on the porch. He quickly got to his feet as he heard the door open and they both looked at eachother unable to find words. Sarah who still had her phone to her ear listening to his voice mails, slowly lowered it and closed it.
“what are you do..” she began but Akira cut her off.
“I’m so so so sorry babe, i don’t want you to drop your life for me , it was selfish of me to ask, i only wanted to be with you”
Tears started to build up in Sarahs eyes and Akira continued “I’ll find a way to get through the 2 months without your hugs.. yoru kisses.. your smell… as long as your happy i can deal with it” he finished and Sarah was now crying.
They both hugged eachother tight and Akira gave her a gentle kiss.
“i love you” he whispered.
“i love you too”
And they came inside, where MG was now laying on the couch with her phone resting on her chest. She glanced over at the two walking in the door smiled slightly at Akira to say hello then turned her head back.
“Get anything from Kio?” Sarah asked now in better spirits.
But MG didn’t answer, she threw her phone across the coffee table in Sarahs direction and Sarah picked it up and opened it… nothing.
MG got up without a word and walked back to her room where she shut her door and layed on her bed.

Over the next 2 weeks MG buried herself in work, yet again. She always did when she was upset. Sarah tried to pull her out of it but nothing ever worked.
“want some brownies?!” Sarah said excited coming into MGs room, MG looked over at her with a half hearted smiled and shook her head while taking another hit of her cigarette. She started smoking in her room about a week ago.
“Your phones.. vibrating” Sarah said pointing at the night stand but MG only shrugged and continued typing on her computer.
Sarah walked over to her phone and picked it up.
“fine.. I’ll answer it” she said sticking her tongue out at MG.
“oooh its a text” but MG payed no attention.
“its from Riku” Sarah announced and MG’s eyes widened as she quickly jumped off her bed and to Sarah where she snatched her phone.
‘how are you? long time no talk’ the text said. MG replied back with a short brief of what had been happening. Riku replied again saying that they had a different show from Grey Sadies and they were in town for the night. So MG invited him over.

Later that night when Riku finally showed up, Akira with him MG couldn’t have been more happy to see them. She jumped in Rikus arms and gave him a big hug.
“if this is how i get greeted i should come here more often” he teased.
Everyone laughed and the 4 had a great time just drinking and laughing and enjoying eachothers company.
Eventually Sarah and Akira, giveing eachother the bedroom eyes, made their way to her room. Riku and MG just giggled at them.
“so..” Riku said.
“so..wanna go watch a movie in my room?” MG smiled, Riku nodded with a big smile and the two went to her room and popped in a movie.
They didn’t pay much attention to it though they mostly talked and laughed through the whole thing, until finally.. Riku kissed MG, she kissed him back but quickly pulled away and Riku understood. From then on they only cuddled until finally they fell asleep.

The next morning at breakfast, the four sit eating and having coffee all still in their night clothes. Which meant the boys were shirtless and the girls were wearing little shorts and tank tops.
When suddenly the door burst open, Everyone jumped and turned their heads quick, scared at wtf just happened. Kio came barging in the door and MG couldn’t have been more confused. She stood up about to walk into the living room to meet him so he wouldn’t see Riku but he was on a mission, she barely got out of her seat when Kio had reached her, he looked over and Saw Riku. He wanted to turn around and walk out but he knew he had to prove to MG he was there for her. MG opened her mouth to say something but Kio went first.
“can we talk?” he asked, she nodded slowely and led him to her room.
