My untitled project, writing a story is never easy and while looking for inspiration I came across a song that inspired me for the opening paragraph. Please leave comments and say if you think if its a good idea and if I should continue writing it.
“Once upon a time, before the lakes and rivers were polluted, before the animals were poached to extinction, and before man had destroyed the earth’s atmosphere, there was a great ship. This vessel was to venture into new waters, to find new resources to make life easier and more enjoyable. It was a simple mission for the crew, who were excited to be a part of this union. They pledged to the captain and vow to be there no matter what, in sickness, health, and possible death. As time passed by, there was no new land to be found. As the days grew shorter, and the nights grew longer and colder, the crew became more and more skeptical about the captain’s vision. Originally passionate and committed, true and faithful, they now began to revolt…”
1 Year Before
“The meeting of Feelweather Valley can now commence” proclaimed a high pitched voice from somewhere in the room. Captain Jeis sat up straight, he was eager to know what was about to happen. A short, grey haired man stood up and walked into the middle of the circle of desks in the old, stone room. In this room were people who meant the most to Feelweather Valley. The mayor, the head of police, the wealthly men and women, other polictical figures and Captain David Jeis. He was the leader of the town’s navel system. He was in charge of food and supplies coming into Feelweather Valley and keeping those who weren’t wanted out.
Feelweather was located in the country of Planeancar. The year was 2197, war had savaged the two world factions. The Unikay and the Iseld, formally one nation but power and money tore them apart so easily. Planeancar, and especially Feelweather were neutral in this war. None the less, both factions had demanded that Planeancar joined one of them. Planeancar remained neutral for the sole reason that it despised what both Unikay and Iseld had done to the world. The trees where being cut down to develop spaces for soldiers. The Ocean had become polluted from ships being sunk and their contents inflicting upon the sea and killing all the amazing wildlife there was to be found. Yet what really disgusted Planeancar was the “Wolfmen”. This wasn’t their true name but this was all they were known as to the citizens of Planeancar. With the name Wolfmen, you would have expected werewolves, men who become wolves every full moon. No, werewolves don’t exist and Wolfmen are worse than you could imagine. Unikay had developed technology that could turn the average soldier into a 9 foot wolf soldier, human brain plus a huge wolf body isn’t good for the opposing army. However rumours had spread to Planeancar of Wolfmen revolting, a thousand Wolfmen, immune to bullets and nearly everything else were now tearing the research facility to shreds and starting their own civilisation, they were the fouth party in this great war.
