Young Bae sat up in his bed. He’d been lying there for more than an hour and it’s already past midnight but he’s still not close to getting any sleep. He should sleep. He needs it. There are lots to cover for his solo album for the next days and weeks – recording more songs, learning choreography, shooting MVs, doing interviews, stuff just to start getting more visible again, create interest… There’s still Japan with Big Bang…

He set the blanket aside and got up… bringing his cellphone with him.
He paced back and forth… stopping only to raise his head up to the heavens as if in a prayer for a miracle.
He looks up her number.
She’s already sleeping, Bae. Quit it.
He heaved a sigh.
His eyes moved around and caught sight of the piano.
He placed his cellphone on top of it and started touching the keys…running his fingers through it ever so gently and affectionately… finding the key for Kiss…
He grinned.
Young Bae…How long is this syndrome gonna last?
Gotta have a cure for you, he thought.
Gently he started pressing on them while thoughts flow over.
He thought of what Teddy said, of her voice and his voice both being soft and meshing well together.
He thought of her.
He thought of the duet that could’ve been theirs…
But hopefully pres. YG will allow her to star for his MV. After all, this song is dedicated to her.
Would she be able to tell? He asked.
Whatever, it’s gotta start from somewhere, right?
He played on.
This was Teddy’s song. He liked it a lot, he annoyed him endlessly, til Teddy said yes just so he’d finally stop.
But there was a twist. Instead of the sad theme, he proposed to make it something more to his liking. Something that’ll be a follow-up to Where U At. A guy’s proposal to a girl he has met and fallen in love with.
In minutes they came up with the lyrics. Him contributing a lot to it.
“Hey, you in love?” Teddy had asked him after he’d tried singing it.
“Huh?”
“You just seem… inspired. Like u know what ur talking about.” Teddy exclaimed.
“Ah, that…” he shyly smiled. “I guess u could say that.”
“That’s what I’m talking about!” Teddy exclaimed while raising a fist and Taeyang hit it.
The memory only seemed to wake him up even more, he suddenly found his voice singing his heart’s song.
I still love Dara and Jiyong’s chemistry. LOL*
