This is a short story from my youth, it was funnier to be there than to read.
In my youth some friends of mine and I got our hands on a Mercury 150 horse outboard motor display replica made of plastic that looked real. The real thing weighs about 350 pounds. This replica was so light it could be picked up with one finger. We loaded it in the back of a pickup truck and went to our favorite hangout to meet our friends.
Hank road in the back of the pickup, when we arrived at the hangout, Hank jumped over the tailgate popping it open and falling on the ground dragging the replica on top of himself. Hank was lying on the ground kicking and screaming as if he was being crushed.
Moose seeing this ran up to Hank and grabbed the replica tried to lift it off him with all his might and through it 20 feet in the air. We laugh so hard we almost messed our pants.
You would think we had enough when Hank strapped the replica on his back and with snow skis on his feet, we towed him around the parking lot at the end of a rope.
So much traffic stopped at the sight someone called the police and the next morning we were on the front page of the local paper.
