I remember when.

I remember when the price was much less

Under a $1.00 a gallon

It seem like ancient times

Now I am dealing with $4.00 plus

It continues to rise now four dollar plus

The ever increasing cost of gasoline

It like an uncontrolled tidal rush

There is no way to lower its cost

Humans on the moon

DNA map and code

It seem something as similar as fuel

Does not equal to $4.00 plus

A man made condition

A demand out of control

A price without a cap

$4.00 plus WE THE PEOPLE need to act

The free market seem broken it’s the lid to release gas prices

As the regulator set on the sideline watching

No one hears the cry of the poor

No one cares for their condition or blight

So I am in search of my knight in gas armor

To deliver me an alternative source

And bring us back to the less than $4.00 status

At a place we can live and be productive

Gas prices so ridiculous. Thanks for posting this poem about this ever growing problem.
