Feeling uninspired.

A barren land engrosses my mind,
Need to find focus before I run out of time.
These lands used to be so fruitful,
But now I fall extremely short of being useful.
Must allow the elements to ripen my thoughts,
For I wish not to share my fate with that of a robot’s.
Will I ever quench this endless thirst for knowledge?
Or will I always be parched since I did not enroll in college.

There’s something to be said for the education of experience. So college doesn’t mean you’ll thirst. Isn’t it funny that when there\’s nothing to write about (writer’s block) we tend to write about the block itself? Ironic isn’t it. Excellent rhyme and flow in this one. Michael
