My daughter was born on the American Independence Day. Today she celebrates her birthday in a far away land. This is her first birthday celebration with her dear husband and first birthday away from us. Her sweet nature still lives with us. This is my gift from my heart.
I felt her body petal-soft
I felt her heart beat in mine.
I held her in my hands
I held her close to my heart.
I saw her huge wide eyes
I saw her inborn strength.
I touched her rosy slender limbs
I touched her brawn in strong action.
I nuzzled her body while she slept
I nuzzled proudly her warm person.
I heard her soft, happy cooing
I heard her divine voice singing.
I fed her on my sweet blood
I fed on her innocent sweetness.
I adored looking at her tiny body
I adored looking at her modest ways.
I kept doting on her nascent beauty
I kept doting on her unmatched elegance.
I grew wonderstruck at her curly locks
I grew wonderstruck at her paint brush strokes.
I bathed my baby showering love
I was bathed in showers of her glory.
I wondered if she would find her match
I wondered at her awesome choice.
I couldn’t resist holding her for long
I couldn’t desist gifting her to her loved.
