Nonsense poem written to lighten the atmosphere of a crazy world!
Out in the field where the wind does not shine,
The hairs on my neck tickled my spine,
There stood a lone cow in the middle of a herd,
Talking out loud but could not be heard,
The sheep in their sty were pecking at corn,
As the stars hid the clouds in the early morn,
Stable-boys checking the eggs in the hay,
While Roosters were ploughing the fields all day,
The Farmers wife saddled the dog,
While the horses splashed around in the bog,
The pigs in the barn were all fast asleep,
As they played in the shallow puddles so deep,
Watching the fisherman shooting at game,
Where the dogs in the trees all looked the same,
But life is like that in the country you see,
So I guess its time to finish my tea,
Then brush my teeth and start to pray,
For this is the start of a brand new day.
