Simply searching for freedom.
These walls are closing in
I feel as though I cannot win
The weight upon my shoulders
is heavier than boulders
I feel tragedy and woe
everywhere I go
Life seems full of misery
only one way to be free
My life has been a prison
only escape is a gun
Into the bullet I carve a butterfly
and here is my reason why
To show that I have taken flight
and left my sorrows on this night
So I ask you please remember me
when you see a butterfly, flying free
