A poem about a lost child.

A child…with a broken wing

Shattered dreams and hopes

Bewitched by flickering false and faults

What have I done?

You’ve lost your beautiful smile

Bitter and unbecoming

Person you are

A falling short of perfection

Foolishness and distortion

Come and hold my hands

Never ever let it go

The wind may blow so hard

But my hands will hold you even tight

I’ll warm your heart again

Mend a broken wing

I will make it strong and sure

Solidly built for sure

Never to faint or feeble

So you will be

A child with a broken wing…

No more…
