A poem considering Christmas.
Christmas Meditation
Silent night,
Holy night,
Have we forgot?
What was done today?
Who entered the world?
What love he gave?
To all humanity,
Who had willfully disobeyed,
And said,
God, be gone!
We need you not!
But oh how we need God,
More than we can ever tell,
And so crave
A glimpse of this most holy night,
E’en though many do deny,
That they seek God,
Even though they deny,
God consumes their thoughts!
