May the Angels Watch Over.
It’s almost Christmas, the tree is done,
but somehow without her, it won’t be much fun;
this littlest angel, one born of love,
is laying and waiting for help from above.
I pray for her safety, her illness begone,
and knowing her loved ones, it shouldn’t take long;
for her to be healthy and back home again,
this littlest angel, the joy of my friend.
I know that in heaven, your wellness begun,
I’m believing you’re better and home with the sun;
and Christmas Day laughter, will ring in the air,
mommy and daddy love beyond compare.
So smile little angel and give Nana a hug,
she’ll keep you warm as a bug in a rug.
