Journey

I sat in my window sill
Looking at that red, lonely mill
Wondering, why am I here?
This place just brings me tears
I set out on a trip
It was full of barrier strips
Eventually, I found that place
The place where I could start my race
It started, I lagged
The path that I reached was completely jagged
Why?
I finally met that one good guy
Together, we ran
And so our life together began

My friend gave me reassurance
Hopefully I can increase my endurance
