Are you in need of pick-up lines? lol. Here’s a collection of sign-offs I used in a series of letters to a beloved.
Thoughts of you lingering in my head,
The insatiable yearning never be fed,
For a minute without you is a minute I’d rather be dead.
No matter what I did or what I said
Every Night I lie awake in bed
And think to myself –
What am I doing here?
The feeling of it is an unbearable euphoria,
Every memory fuels my story, a
Desire insatiable – to fuel the unreachable – You.
In a far off land, or maybe not,
But close enough to make a difference not.
The other half of my oyster shell,
We fit together perfectly, for you I fell.
A love impossible, but a love the same,
And one in such a love cannot leave whence they came.
Perhaps futile, perhaps in vain,
But of all the things to stop my love from you,
None succeed. So for now, I bid you adieu,
Taking solace in the fact that I love you.
The elixir deep in my chest
With all else indeed suppressed
Allowing a sense be released
For being your beautiful self, at least.
A woman of wonder
Simple asunder,
Enigmatic as thunder –
The growing desire within my heart is the negation of your absence.
No man hath a greater cistern of devotion,
With a swathe of courage my emotion
Seeming like a blatherskite,
Gargantuan as a bruin,
Praying becomes trite,
And my love ashooin.
