A poem of a lost soul in a winters storm.

The heavens unleashed their wrath today,

Sending blinding snows and terrific wind.

All in a panic I have called out your name,

For you have gone out but not yet come in.

Are you lost somewhere all alone,

Are you from my eyes forever gone.

Will mother natures grip of stone,

Be loosened this day to send you home.

The blackness of the night seems to scream my name,

Taunting me as did the day before.

In sign a raven flies across the moon,

As if to say she’ll ride no more.

My steed is saddled and ready to ride,

Across the frozen land we fly.

I hear your voice cry in the wind,

I will not rest till you’re home again.
