Colbi Bear, Come and play.
We are going to the park today!
Up, up, up the ladder.
Down, down, down the slide.
Around and around on the merry-go-round
behind the tree I sit and hide!
Over the bridge,
look under a rock,
splash in a puddle….
wet shoes and wet socks!
Swing, swing, kick your feet
try very hard to touch the sky
swing like a monkey across the bars
look down at your feet from way up high.
Fill a shoe up with sand
pour some water in a pail
fly a kite way up high
watch it dance, watch it sail
Roll, roll down a hill
watch the clouds as they go by
pick some flowers, watch the ants
now it’s time to say good-bye.
Sweet, sweet Cobli-Bear
laying down on her bed
thinking of the day she had
“Sweet dreams, Colb!,” momma said.
