A description of the trip of a little girl in a garden in spring…
The little girl in frilly silken frock so sublime
Ran in the meads of rainbow coloured flowers abloom
Nimble on her feet as if flying on wings of delight
Stopping to whisper to the roses in crimson bowers
Their faces covered in sparkling dewdrops as gems
Or to sniff at the fragrant bevy of lilies in alabaster gowns
Filling her tiny nostrils in puffs of alluring fragrance
Her roving sparkling eyes search for the cuckoo hidden in foliage
From where it sends a mellifluous greeting of love
The sun is a benign golden beacon showering aureate beams
In the silent lake of blushing lotuses in bloom
The crane stands on one foot lost in meditation
As the little angel curiously looks on
She laughs with delight as a rippling cascade
When the moth flies beside her humming in its nonchalance
And at the slightest caress of fingertips stroking like a feather
The leaves of the touch -me- not close up
She chases the butterflies draped in gowns of spun silk
Painted by the nymphs and urchins
As they sip nectar from floral cups filled with ambrosia
She lies on the soft dewy grass covered with shed blossoms
From the benevolent arms of the trees standing calmly
And as dusk comes sprinkling hue splashes on the sky
Her day in the gardens ends as she claps in ecstasy…
