Dost Thou Remember Such Things?

As the castle hath been attacked once more and the Munchkin Brigade laid siege to bombard the royals time again, is it not enough to watch the carnage of the Hoard whilst such cacophonous meandering in the sweltering heat? They circle the castle with glee as the royal queen grandmother’s beseech to retrieve heart pills is bid to the princess mother. Can such energy be harnessed for good? Or whilst the Munchkin Brigade continue on their path of destruction? Nay, a week’s worth of pent-up devastation will be spent and training in the ranks will ensue.

All is well with the princess mother as she finds small trinkets of satisfaction for each of the Hoards’ personage. A math puzzle here for the second grader that squeals with delight or rage in the batting of a hummingbird’s wings. And for the second in command of the great army, a delightful word-search puzzle shall condense the harangue of tormenting moans that wouldst give even the hardiest of malevolent spirits astonishment into happy noise. Not to have the commander of the Munchkin Brigade out-done, the sixth-grade geography game will suffice to bring about much contentment as would be felt throughout the land in result.

Earlier within the day threats of haphazard regard towards the royal queen grandmother were thwarted once again by a side track. The royal princess mother requested an audience with her daughter, second in command of such intimidating army of the Hoard. As she demanded to be told of her mother’s actions and by her leave be gone from her company, the royal princess mother smiles and suggests an outing, an adventure worthy of such a respected Hoard member. To Ye Olde Recycling with much metal for gold in pocket intended for such supplies as needed for school and then a merry trip to the market for these treasures. As the second in command of the Hoard pondered over such a request, at the ready to negate it; the royal princess mother also suggested that the ten year-old could stay at the ready for attacking the castle to be sure. But the supplies for school would indeed be of design of Disney princesses, Hello Kitty and SpongeBob of the Squarepants that adorned her first grade supply materials. At once the Munchkin is up in arms! “Nay, I will go on this adventure with you mother!” is her hasty reply as she dons quick sandals to hurry towards the door. Twas amazing to see how the threat of juvenile decorations on her school parcels would energize her vision of the day!

Homeward, after the scramble of coupon day at the discount store with precious material that would be much needed for the exciting day back to school, we found our way back and in the comfort of the castle as the royal queen grandmother woke from her afternoon nap. Such is an afternoon with the tirades of the Munchkin Brigade locking their intent on bringing as much disorder to the realm as they can muster for the day’s attack. What lies ahead? Another adventure is waiting.
