Millions of people every day suffer from mild to severe mental illness. walk a day in the shoes of someone who deals with these issues every day.
A normal person would find this hard to percive,
To wake up every day with a mental disease.
every racing thought and action make it harder to breathe,
why wont this burden just get up and leave?
to complete a simple action takes more than an hour,
every mistake feels like the falling twin towers.
no motivation to work so they call me a coward,
mental state so delicate like the leaves of a flower.
situations occur and i want to run,
when a normal person is just sitting there having fun.
no way to socialize without my thoughts weighing a ton,
its like watching a game but being blinded by the sun.
so to try to forget about my mental state,
i tried using drugs to self medicate.
alls it did was make everyone hate,
messed up my life, and dumped more on my plate.
if only i could go back in time,
never try drugs or commit a crime.
be a great person and follow the straight line,
i probably wouldnt be writing this ryme.
although serious mistakes were made,
i can only take it day by day.
deal with my issues in my own way,
life is a blessing no matter how hard you have to play.
