A poem I wrote about a man getting rejected by his Love.
Someone in the woods is calling for you.
Who’s sweet voice draws you close? Who?
Magic seems to whisper in you ear,
Tickling your soul and enticing you near.
You step into the dark shadows of the wood.
You try to turn back, you know you should.
Your feet keep walking;
A preditor is neat, it’s stalking.
The leaves crunch with every step you take;
Dread drowns you as Fear smothers you; These feelings you cannot shake.
Her hands chills your skin,
Her voice turns you to ice from within.
She speaks of Death,
You start to fall apart with every breath.
This angel offers you no love,
She’s your exicutioner from above.
Her hazel eyes turn to blood and fire,
She has destroyed your every desire.
