I came up with this poem for women because they are like diamonds;very beautiful every one love them, but like a diamond sometimes men take them for granted and don’t appreciate their worth. Many women have been hurt, but regardless, they must remember that they are diamonds(women) and never stones.Shine bright without that necklace(Man) in your life.Might not be my best poem, but hope I get the message across.
There once was the most beautiful diamond,
Oh so rare and very pure
She was the prettiest, full of life plus not insecure
Then one day a necklace came who played with her heart
He was shiny, charming and very sharp
The diamond never knew what came over her
The necklace took her shine,
Then acted like he never discovered her,he very much denied
Diamond, was hurt and had no love for herself
Necklace told her he loved her and she wanted nobody else
Diamond is now turning into a stone
Trying to make her broken heart be gone
While one day she looked in the mirror,
And started crying, cause that love she’ll always remember
But knows that without him she will shine
Pain will not bring her sorrow
For she know there would be better days
It will come tomorrow
Love is hard, but life not done
Even if he is gone
She’d learned to love herself and not to give up on love
Because without him, she shall be strong
Then she realize a diamond is beautiful alone!
And also a diamond can never turn to a stone.
