Most dreams are considered to be nothing but idle fancies of the mind; yet, some seem to convey a message, letting you know in advance that you may experience it in reality.

Some dreams abound with riches

And ornaments so bright!

But are, in fact, so common

That they vanish with the night.

Some dreams, in fact, are simple,

But quickly fade away;

They happen in our real world,

Each and every day.

One day, in my own real world,

A poor, old man I saw,

He told me he was hungry

While crouching at my door.

I shared with him my humble meal;

He thanked me, as he left;

I felt it was a privilege

To feed one so bereft!

The dream I saw the other night

Dwelt simply on a fact

Which, by its very nature,

Alluded to this act.

    Very nice. Dreaming is my pastime!
