A dream of you
Like heaven falling
To bended knee

Rivers of golden purity
Flowing tresses of silken thread
Upon crowns atop cherub heads

Spinning visions of satin and lace
Ivory and immaculate
Set to frame the innocent face

A tinge of blush
Rushes the senses
Pierces the night’s quiet tones
Plucks angelic melodies

‘Neath the stars
In haste to embrace
All the promises we long to make

Candle lit with open heart
With open arms

Vowing before God and man
To never let Love’s rapture
Fall from grace, again.
