A poem which tells the story of a dreamer’s dreaming dream.

Then there was just a moment as cold blew across tree tops.
Slumbering minds laying warm in their beds.
Along came a dreamer.
Wondering what dreams in their heads might be laid.
Sleeping slumber sunk in and dreams began to play.
What now could be as wondrous thoughts emerge.
Dreaming minds wandering fields of golden clover.
Dreamers playing amongst dashingly brilliant lavender flowers.
A dewy dance as clouds emerge and form.
lighting the sky with storms.
No lightening flashes or thunderous roars.
Just a cooling rain.
Washing away seeds of golden clover and lavender flower.
Moving the seeds onward towards every brightened shore.
Amongst the trees where cold wind blows the owl hoots.
Below is the white bear’s roar.
Dreamers running on over metal leaved forest floor.
Up metal tree to meet the hooting owls bewisened smile.
A smile so confident so happily sure.
Seeming to laugh as it grins
Letting out a hoot as it’s eyes begin to swirl.
Laughingly it proclaims “You’re just running from the bear.”
“Indeed,” says the dreamer.
The owl laughingly with its bewisened smile says, “What for?”
Below, the bear runs by and the dreamer feels relieved.
A soft moment passes by.
The dreamer stares deeply into the owl’s laughing eyes.
