A short poem about falling.
Slow motion blurs my vision with inept perceptions,
As tears cry in closed and cornered grief,
At once. At once. At once.
Wreaking of distaste and destitution,
Paralyzed in a stare surmounting conception,
Grief enfolds the shrinking vision.
Freeze framing reality smirks wryly,
As nothing stirs to rise above,
A single agonizing notion.
A pause, a standstill,
Collapse and collapse,
A fall below ensues.
