A short poem I wrote about a guy admiring the beauty of a girl he sees often, enjoy it!

He watched her flawless heartshaped face,

day and night he fell in love,

she was an unbelievable beauty,

slowely she glanced upon his eyes

He kept a close watch on every feature,

A stunning girl with huge blue eyes,

He had accepted that it was a lie,

She was trouble after all

A pathological liar,

with a mischivous glimmer in her eye,

that left him on the edge,

an unbelievable perfect lie

 Perhaps he was desperate,

desperate to discover her true identity,

To watch the aftermath of her game unfold,

unaware of everything in her path

she ignores her little lies,

But he is still there,

he still admires her flawless beauty,

she became his whole world in that moment

she slowely returns an eye for an eye,

he fell in love again all day and night.

This poem is very, very good. I read it twice. (I rarely read poetry on Triond twice.) The layers of deception and self-deception are more complex than you get on first reading. Thanks.
