He may very well
Be buying your love
And wants something
In return

To have a buddy?
Most likely such a person
You can rely on
Under any circumstance

A relationship
Ought to be
A two-way street

It’s when you enjoy
Having lunch
And going for walks
With someone special
In your life

You discuss any and everything
Under the sun
Knowing it’s safe
And will not become part
Of the rumor mill

Friends are precious
Favors are reciprocal
And it’s always a joy
To be in each other’s presence

but sometimes, it pays not to be blunt. It is a good idea to pad the truth in a nicer/ more encouraging words. After all, its a two way street as u said…and if u really care for your friend, u will take care of his feelings even when \”telling it like it is\”…wont you..? my take..that. nice piece
