She was around my soft hearted soul which enhanced me for the better.

She was closer to my blood than my own very veins where she warmed my body from the ruthless ice of the winter seasons.

I once sat with the thought as to how this girl fell for a person like me.

At an instant, my mind pictured a day I had changed her identity.

It was a terrible beginning to the day when she was accused of theft.

Her body was nearly thrashed with punches and kicks by those who were covered with a blanket over their eyes.

No person had believed her innocence due to their lack of intelligence.

But I, the healer, had kept her in my arms to keep her secure from physical abuse.

With a gentle touch, I said ‘Keep the faith that someone is here for you’.

The words had absorbed her heart so suddenly that she fell to my knees with love and respect.

I caught her sweet baby hands and raised her towards me and kept her close for another gentle body touch.

It came to me that we suddenly fell for each other which surprised me so very much.

Now we both stand, high above the abusive ones with a new era in our life!

This will live on forever we could never have thought would come just because of a gentle touch.
