I spent a whole night over at McDonald’s and apart from Coke over consumption, this is what I ended up writing.
Just a glass of Coke
without the ice,
without the lid,
without the straw,
and best of all,
bottomless.
Refillable, for hours
so sizes doesn’t matter
Just give me the small one
and don’t smirk, friend
as I sat there writing
burning my midnight oil.
