One can see from the smallest hill all the colors of Ireland.

A Glimpse of the Universe

High up on the ridge line

of Tullycululiff Lane

among the rolling hills of

Monaghan, fields and

hedgerows spread far

and wide, some green,

some yellow, some tan,

but mostly the greenest

of green seeping like

rain into farmers’ dreams

while clouds of time go gliding by.
