In this universe with zillions of living creatures, planets and elements I am just like a grain of sand on a seashore, but still I have a distinctive voice.

I’m humbled

That I’m just

A grain of sand

In this vast universe

- – -

I’m perplexed

That I’ve a place

Among all the glorious manifestations

That dance among us

- – -

I’m moved

That although my voice is minuscule

I could be heard

Beyond roofs-tops that litter the sea

- – -

How could that be?

Isn’t it marvellous

That the smallest of us

Means so much?

- – -

In this vast universe

That encompasses

Sky, moon, stars

Seas and zillions and zillions

Of everything else

I remain

Just a grain of sand

- – -

I’ve a distinctive voice

That’s unique

And am important

As important can be

Leaves you in awe doesn’t it and to think God loves us so much he even knows our name and our unique being among all those other grains of sand. Amazing and wonderful…Great write. It’s a keeper. Keep sharing.
