Some people are very easily pleased.
We travelled up to Clacton
On the train, the two of us
We likes a bit of style
So we never goes by bus
The fares were quite expensive
It cost us thirty each
Still, you soon forget the money
When your sitting on the beach
At lunchtime we gets peckish
So we ‘as some pie and mash
It’s tasty and it’s filling
And, don’t cost lot of cash
We strolls along the prom
And ‘as our paddle in the sea
My other ‘alf she loves it
But it’s much too cold for me
At six o’clock it’s time to go
But, we stops and ‘as a drink
I ‘ad a pint of bitter
She ‘ad a Port, I think
We strolls down to the station
And we climbs aboard the train
We’ve ‘ad a really smashin’ day
Think we might come back again
