We were all freshman novices

in life once you know,

we’re all learning as we go

Mistakes? We all make them

but from them we grow

Sometimes our hearts beat fast

but eventually they slow

as the adrenaline no longer

has it’s iron grip hold

Sometimes we should keep playing

other times we should fold
